From A2T To Chronologic: A Rebranding Celebration

Fourth Avenue, on Westfield Trading Estate saw a goodly number of customers, well-wishers as well as staff on the 17th June, 2014. The reason for the gathering was to mark the rebranding event when Access-to-Time was rebranded to Chronologic.

Access-to-Time was a company that provided high level Time and Attendance, Security, Policy Control and Access Control systems to its large base of customers. It was created in the year 1999 and since 2006; it has been a resident of Midsomer Norton. The organisation, which is now called Chronologic, was established with the aim of offering both high performance products and, even more crucially to their ethos, excellent customer support services. In the nearly 15 years since it started it has managed to do so by generating strong organic growth and through acquisitions.

Located in Fourth Avenue on Westfield’s Industrial Estate, Chronologic extends its many services to a large customer base not only in UK and Europe but also in the Australia. Alastair Slade, a founding director was quoted saying “As we increased our portfolio of products it became evident that we needed a strong umbrella brand to enable us to move forward with our ambitious plans.” This thinking has confirmed by its recent successes at Thatcher’s Cider’s which was a large installation project for time and attendance, access control and CCTV as well as barriers and gates and a new time and attendance system at Best Western Plus Centurion Hotel that paid for itself in three months based on the efficiencies provided to the business.

Chronologic has showcased an excellent customer retention rate, thanks to the use of the latest biometric and RFID technology as well as its recruitment programme bringing in new support engineers, apprentices and an operations manager within the last year. These successes have helped the company exceed its desired objectives. It is also looking for a full-time marketer to meet further needs.  As a part of its aim to deliver well developed time and attendance and other systems the company hasn’t hesitated in expanding its range of products and has expertise in nearly all areas of business activity.
