People living with dementia launch a new dementia support project in Brent
The Dementia Peer Support Service, a ground-breaking project run by and for people with dementia, with the support of professional staff, was launched at the Brent Civic Centre in Wembley this week. Dementia affects over 850,000 people in the UK – set to rise to over 1 million by 2021 – and is the leading cause of death in England and Wales, costing the UK £26 billion a year.

Phone kiosks - Given the poor state and inappropriate use of current phone boxes on the Broadway e.g. advertising prostitution, dirty kiosks etc Danny will write to BT and Clear Channel (previously Arquiva) to request that they replace these with modern open pedestal kiosks.
