Monrovia Police Searching for Missing 10-Year-Old Boy

The child was last seen trying to withdraw money from an ATM in Old Town, police said.

A 10-year-old boy who has a history of running away disappeared from a Monrovia home Tuesday evening and police are searching for him.

The child was with family visiting a residence in the 200 block of Walnut Avenue Tuesday at about 6 p.m., Monrovia Police Sgt. Don Newton said. The boy also ran away yesterday, Newton said.

"He's kind of habitual at this," he said.

The boy, identified in a police flyer as Mykai Gaddis, was last seen trying to withdraw money from an ATM at the Krikorian Theater, Newton said. He is described as five feet tall and 90 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a long sleeve black shirt with a white, wavy line design on it, blue jeans, and black dress shoes.

Anyone with information on the child's whereabouts is asked to call Monrovia Police at 626-256-8000.
