WOW what an awesome story. The characters in this book are characters people can fall in love with. Brooklyn takes on a new job however it's quite possible someone is out to get her literally out to kill her. This book has so many twists and turns. Suspense and excitement at the turn of every page. With her life possibly on the line she turns to long time friend and police detective Mark, but when things get heated between Brooklyn and Mark he doesn't know if he can continue to protect her the way she needs and still be her friend. Brooklyn wants to find who's responsible for the killings happening from someone dubbed as the Forget Me Knot killer. Can Brooklyn and Matt find this killer at large before something horrible happens to one or both of them. Or will the killer get the best of them by keeping himself one step ahead of them at every turn.

Holy s***!! I absolutely loved reading this... Thriller romance with a gorgeous strong alpha male wanting to protect!!! I just can't believe this is a debut novel... Seriously?? - Just WOW!

Brooklyn - the daughter of a well known notorious Mob King, so that makes her a Princess in that world... But no she's totally opposite as she's an attorney... Go girl!!

And we also meet her best friend that she's always crushing on - Mark the Lead Detective of NYPD..

She's now the new District Attorney for New York... she discovered the real reason why she was hand picked for this position.... She's a dead ringer of all the women who were murdered!

That's all I'm not giving the story away! LOL All I will say is that you will LOVE this series as much as I did!

This Author just keeps it coming with all those twists & turns in this amazing story - I just love a good mystery.

Can't wait for the next one!!

The first chapter drew me in. The second chapter blew me away. From there, I could not be pulled away from this book. Elizabeth York tells a story with passion and intrigue. I will not give spoilers, but it’s fair to say; when you read her novel you will be spoiled and look forward to more of this new author’s novels. I didn’t want the book to end. I will be anxiously waiting for more of her novels.

This book is amazing! It has a hot cop, a beautiful ADA, a psycho killer and even a Russian mobster. Lots of action...criminal and sexual. Very steamy! It does end in a cliffhanger so I’m on to the next book NOW!
