About this Class

Children and chaperones will visit cultural institutions with an emphasis on guided tours that will be designed to connect key aspects of Japanese culture within context. All outings will take place in Manhattan. Each experience will be complemented with a private workshop back at Honbu, ranging from calligraphy making to a yoga session. Each day would end with a karate class at Honbu. Artistic, spiritual, and/or physical guest instructors will be brought into Honbu which then will culminate with a group exhibition and presentation to caregivers, parents, Kaicho, and Nidaime. Every weekday the kids would be dropped off at 8:30am and picked up at 5:00pm, after karate class at Honbu.
