Making Change Happen: Leaders for a United Library Field

A united library field will not happen by itself. It will need YOUR contribution, acting as leaders of your institution, your community, your association. 


The President-Elect Session was an ideas factory where participants shared experiences and ideas and helped build the basis for the leadership we need. 


With a focus on bringing the field together, the session concentrated on how leadership can build connections and partnerships, from the local to the global, which will unify the field and allow it not just to survive but to thrive in today’s world. 


This book is a compilation of the results of the dynamic President-Elect Session held during WLIC 2017. It includes content by leading speakers, 277 attendees and 195 active participants from 53 different countries.
