Compact Radius 14 tonner a Bauma Highlight from Hidromek

The HMK145LCR compact radius hydraulic excavator from Hidromek is sure to be a big attraction at the forthcoming Bauma Trade Fair in Munich.

Turkish manufacturer Hidromek continues to roll out new and stylish looking machines, which are brimming with the latest in Japanese “blue chip” hydraulic technology and electro hydraulic components. Among the new machines I’m looking forward to seeing at Bauma will be the new HMK145LCR.

The 14-tonne class machine also features Hidromek’s Opera Control System as we have seen on its larger models that have made it into the UK market. The cab is sure to please even the most fussy of operators. Although this machine first appeared last year at Intermat in Paris and it has since been awarded the prestigious Red Dot 2018 award for design, alongside its smaller sister machine the HMK60 CR, we are yet to see many of them in the field. This video has appeared on You Tube featuring a HMK145LCR fitted with TAB boom and dozer blade, which I believe is being test driven on Hidromek land above the factory in Ankara.

We also expect to see a number of other new machines from Hidromek including a second smaller wheeled loader the HMK635WL and a fully electrically driven 7-tonne class mobile excavator, so plenty to look out for on the stand.
