Description
The Marucci Bat Company™ takes pride in turning top quality wooden baseball bats in the same tradition and precise technique of the earliest bat companies. Every Marucci Bat™ is cut, calibrated, balanced, buffed and lacquered by hand. The Marucci Bat Company™ uses top grade Maple billets cut from selected, naturally grown trees in Pennsylvania forests. This selection process insures the highest possible grade of wood for each bat. The Marucci Bat Company™ bats are 100 percent handmade or turned in small batches from an original design, then finished and detailed by hand. Each model is made to exacting specifications maximizing balance and ease of handling. The Marucci Bat Company™ uses an Ultra Penetrating Stain that provides the best possible finish for your next Marucci Bat. Most impressive is the Bone Rubbing technique that The Marucci Bat Company™ uses. "Boning" bats began in the earliest days of baseball with players like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. These Hall-of-Famers would spend hours in their dugouts rubbing their bats with old cow femur bones. Bone Rubbing closes the wood`s pores, compressing it and making it harder. Marucci uses the same technique on their bats, rubbing before the finish is applied to seal and harden the wood. Just another example of how Marucci takes the same pride in their bats as our baseball heroes once did. Experience the excellence of a Marucci Bat with the CU26YB. Free Shipping! Pros: Exceptional bat! Very well balanced top to bottom with solid feel and a generous sweet spot. Feels true to a drop 5 weight. Used by my 12 year old for pre-season BP and wood bat tournaments. Impressive pop and consistency game after game compared to other bats he has used. Could not be happier with this choice of bats. Highly recommended.

Cons: Paint chips easily, not really a con expected! However, it's a bit lighter then expected guessing -8 feel...
Bam
Pros: Great bat. I ordered a 27 for my 8u player last season, bats still in great shape. I ordered a 28 this season and the marucci sricker was peeling off out of the box. Sent it bad and I was sent a replacement bat over night in time for my sons 9u wood bat tourney.
Cons: None, I think I just got a bat sticker job. Bat was great.

Sickgame
Pros: Very impressed with this bat. My son is only 7 and I was worried it would be heavy. This bat is very balanced and he has no difficulty swinging this bat. He loves this bat and it has great pop. Really surprised how well this bat performs. We will see how long it lasts. If it continues to perform I will buy another.
Cons: Petty but cosmetic. Wish we could have gotten it engraved for him or get a natural wood color.
ethan caillier
Pros: This bat is great, I used it at my brother's baseball pratice and went to get it today.
Cons: None, this bat is great.
10U Select Player's Father
Pros: Surprisingly balanced for wood. Lots of pop; great feel in hand and at contact. My son, 10U select baseball player, loves the balanced feel. Doesn't hurt that he love Utley.
Cons: Thin barrel typical of wood; large cupped-out end may lead to some chipping.
warrior
Pros: Love this bat. The first time out hit 3 against the fence. Well balanced, feels great while swinging. I'm 11 years old, 95 lbs. and 30" worked great. Weight 24 oz.
Cons: None.
Steve O
Pros: Love it. Lots of pop. This is my first wood bat and I like using it for batting practice.

Pros: Great for my son who is on the small side for an 11 year old. Was worried it would be a tough change but he loves the feel and the sound. Nothin like the smack of a wood bat.
Cons: none

Pros: Good weight and balance, bought to use for BP for the winter and build strength before going to a drop 8 or drop 10 for travel ball, seems to be doing it
Cons: None
Mr Lee Craig parent

Pros: great feel great pop very durable harder than louisville slugger very balanced great sound amazing bat!!!!!!!!!
Cons: every one wants to use it
Great pop, however poor durability. Tyler player
Pros: This bat had terrific pop. Sharp looking color. Big sweet spot.
Cons: Broke in the cages within a week. This bat does not live up to it's expense. I would expect a longer life span from a 70$ bat.
Great bat coachandrew coach
Pros: Good pop with enough drop off for youth.
Cons: none
utley noykathok player
Pros: great pop does not break easily
Cons: none
Marucci Won't disappoint! 11-year-old-baseball-guru player
Pros: Bat helped me bat .320+, and it was used by several kids on my team. I used this throughout a travel baseball season, and it didn't disappoint. It felt pretty good in my hands, every game in a 20+ game season. The black paint job looked slick out of the box.
Cons: The bat's paint job got a little chipped over the season, but that's really it.
nice! aiden player
Pros: great bat especially for the price ive hit five hrs in 4 fall ball games
Cons: its wood so its gotta break sometime
2nd time Dylan player
Pros: sounds good
Cons: split on the second time I used it! I read all of these great reviews and expected so much more!
Good not great Kevin Manning parent
Pros: Good balance, nice finish. Pretty decent pop for wood bat
Cons: I know its a wood bat and basically can brake at any time. But man only lasted around 10 games total. Was originally bought for BP for which it served its purpose. But had to use it in a wood bat game over weekend, and first jam job bat cracked. Finish is pretty but gets dinged up quick and often. Bat only lasted 3 months total with BP and about 10 actual games, expect more for 70$. Bamboo wood purchased still going strong approaching 2 years of hard use, and was only 50$
New to wood bats Ace parent
Pros: Being new to the whole "wood bat" leagues for the kids as they do here in New York, i saw a couple of kids use this bat so i figured that i would buy one for my son (12) and my daughter (9). The first couple of games both kids consistently hit line drives all over the field. Very nice pop (if you want to say a wood bat has pop anyway).
Cons: After a week or so, my daughter gets up to bat and cracks the bat in half and she is only 9. Later that day, i go to my sons game and the same thing happens, he cracks his bat in half. Now, i would semi expect for him to break a bat or two, but my daughter??? Maybe it was a bat batch of wood.
amazing bat michael johnson player
Pros: i got this bat for christmas and took about 1000 cuts off the tee a week for a couple of months. when it started to get warm i went in the back and had my pitching machine throw real balls and it sounds like a pro bat and has great pop.
Cons: none!!
Great Bat!! Marucci did it right Nathan player
Pros: Awesome Pop! Great Balance Great Price
Cons: None!
Decent bat Jason Gothrup parent
Pros: Kids loved it. First wood bad so not a lot to go on other that it felt great and had pretty good pop!
Cons: Broke after 2nd game on what seemed to be a solid hit snapped it between his hands. I believe there was a genuine defect with the particular bat as my boys are ages 10 and 11. However Justbats replaced it free of charge due to it being so new. They were extremely helpful and nice about it.
Perfect nat P. Lopez parent
Pros: Well balanced great pop and easy to get around feels very solid
Cons: None
very nice mark parent
Pros: my 12 year old son uses it nice feels very nice and is well balanced. ball comes off the bat very well for a wood bat. would buy another.
Cons: none yet
great for the money KM player
Pros: the ball jumps off the bat and has great durability
Cons: once u get a small crack or dent the bat looses everything. durability, feel and most of all pop
30" Marucci Chase Utley Maple Wood Bat Dickens K. Malave coach
Pros: The Marucci bats have a great solid feel when you hit the baseball. The 30" Marucci bat is better handled by the bigger/stronger 12 year olds.
Cons: My son is a small 12 year old and the 30" bat seems to be a bit too long and heavy for him. He's sticking with the 29" Marucci for now until he grows a little bigger and stronger in the near future.
great bat baaseball player
Pros: this bat has lasted me a long time it is very nice
Cons: none
Great bat!! love this thing ?? Hunter Doyle player
Pros: Amazing pop I come up in batting pratice and rip some shots. best wood bat i ever had.

Good wood bat Alejandro player
Pros: Durable with good feel. Lasted 2 yrs
Cons: Finally broke in batting cage
Great..for awhile T L O parent
Pros: Good pop..looked great....
Cons: ......while it lasted.....through one Little League season. My son is 9 years old and it broke in the first at bat in the season opener. Not sure it is Maple because maple doesn't break like that.
Next Level MH parent
Pros: Solid, well made bat for the youth!
Cons: Guess if you had to say something. Could be a little thicker, less chance of breaking etc.
Terrific bat! Nana other
Pros: Very smooth finish and well balanced. First time using a wood bat and my grandson felt comfortable swinging the bat . He hit the ball very well. Since this was his first wooden bat, I ordered the CU26 in a 28 length vs the 29. The drop 5 was not an issue due to the bat being well balanced. Shipping was quick too.
Cons: So far I do not have any cons about the bat.
great first “woodie” james s parent
Pros: bought 28" for my son who reports great pop, feel. did add a grip. sound of ball off the bat providds great feedback to player.
Cons: none
Top of the Line Bat Joey parent
Pros: Very good pop. Swings very balanced. My son brags about how good the bat feels in his hands and how good the feedback is. He says its the best bat he's ever swung and he has used several other brands of wood bats.
Cons: None yet

Pros: looks good, feels good.

2 Broken Marucci's Tim Ockerman parent
Pros: Looks pretty as an ornament in the corner of your kids room.
Cons: 2 Broken! This is the second of these Maple Maruccis that my 10 year old son broke in batting practice. We were conscious of bat orientation and it wasn't abused. The first one was broken in the first few weeks of the Fall '17 season and the second was broken in the first practice!! By a skinny little kid, which should never happen! This is a very poor product with inferior material. Marucci should refund!
Marucci Chase Utley Maple Youth Bat Keith coach
Pros: My 12yr old son has been using this bat in his Little League Baseball games for more than a month now. It seems very strong, durable, and well balanced. He loves the way it feels in his hands, the handle is the perfect thickness for his hands. He has chosen this bat over the new sanctioned composite bats. He feels that there is more pop in this bat and it has a true feel to it. We just purchased another one in the next size up.
Cons: None as of yet.
Great Bat sarah boelter other
Pros: This is a sturdy, balanced and light weight bat for a kid 12 and up, as well as an adult. I am very glad I purchased it.
Cons: Unfortunately, I bought this for my 8 year-old-grandson who was not quite ready for it. He needed a smaller bat. (I'm a novice at this!) His dad loves the bat, though, and I know my grandson will be using it in years to come.
Great Youth Bat IFC coach
Pros: This is a solid bat for kids who are swinging wood for the first time. The cupped end helps balance the heavier weight the younger crowd is not used to. Bat is being used by several members of the team during BP and games and is holding up well. Keep in mind, drop 5 or 6, not 10-11
Cons: Finish does not last long but that is OK....means they are hitting it!
Better then USABat offerings 108Laces coach
Pros: This bat has more pop then "USABat" bats. If your son/daughter can weild the -5 to -7 weight, then this is the ticket. Plus the sound just clicks off the barrel. The wood is dense, the weight is ideal and very balanced. Remember, contacdt with the label up!
Cons: Your player should have a decent set of swing mechanics in order to square one up wiht this (or any wood bat). They aren't forgiving and if a kid mis-hits it - he'll get a stinger..
5 Star Great Bat!!! K.Eckerson parent
Pros: My son loves this bat!!! he is 12 yrs old with a small frame and I thought he might have trouble swinging it and I was wrong. The bat seems like it is a little bit lighter than -5 and has NO vibration to it. He has a Easton Hyperlight ghost 31 -11 that he has been using (Vibrates like crazy if you don't hit the sweet spot) and I believe that this bat has a better pop to it!! These new USA bats are GARBAGE.. $300 for a bat that hits balls barely out of the infield is a joke!!! he has been using it for practice and is hitting solid line drives with it (most to the fence at 225). My son will be using this bat for fall travel ball, so well shall see how it goes... I think wood is the way to go right now and I will be sticking with Marucci maple! Thank you for the fast delivery!!!!
Cons: None at this time.
wood VP coach
Pros: Nice all around bat. Haven't tried to many wood bats, but my 11yr old hits alot better with this than he does with the USA junk. Good pop. Hit about 500 balls in 2 weeks. Holding up great.
Cons: none
Not heavy enough Michael Coach
Pros: Feels balanced.
Cons: Too light in weight. I know wood bats vary but it ended up being a -7. One of the reasons I wanted a wood bat for my 9-year old was to get one that was heavier than his -8 aluminum USAbat. It's hard to find a youth wood bat that's heavier than the aluminum ones.
10u wood bat Keith Fujinaga Parent
Pros: Good training tool and helps with learning about the feel of Mis hits versus sweet hits. Durability is good thus far and feels really solid. Did not check weight but feels like a true drop -5. Finish is amazing. Looks so good my son was hesitant to use it. He says the pop is not as much as his mako beast but thinks it will get better with time.
Cons: Not hot out of the wrapper but it is not a composite bat so not expected.
Impressed; but still pending Keith Parent
Pros: Great pop off the bat. Sounds incredible. Offers good feel with minimal sting. Looks so good hard to use it the first time.
Cons: A little spendy but if it holds up for a while then worth it.
Firecracker!!! D. Fisher Coach
Pros: Excellent pop!!! Sounds Amazing on solid contact!!! A tab bit more end loaded than the CUTCH22YB, and slimmer handle profile in comparison...but all in all a very good balanced solid performing bat! My son is a small 12 yr old with pretty good swing mechanics and pretty strong for his size and whips this thing like nobody's business! We wrapped the handle for a bit more control and he loves it!!!
Cons: NONE WHATSOEVER!!!...weight/balance/length comes down to individual preference, height/weight, strength of your kid, and their abilities.
Father of middle schooler Dan Parent
Pros: Bat Looks great with lizard skin (fluorescent green)!!! Bat is light, so good bat speed for my son. Bat has good pop! Marucci hasn't disappointed us yet. we have two wood bats and both have great pop and look nice with lizard skin grip.
Cons: Black bat gets lots of scuffs but its a black bat what can you expect.
Bat Broke with less than 10 hits. Barb Parent
Pros: None really. My son hit with this fat less than 10 times and it broke at the handle.
Cons: Not durable at all.
great bat Cooper Player
Pros: awesome bat for little league not super heavy and has good pop in it.
Cons: not very many cons
Cracked one and done Cameron Parent
Pros: Looks good
Cons: Cracked on the third baseball hit . Son spent his own money and got three whacks until it cracked. Haven’t contacted the vendor yet.
