I visited Freddy's for the first time, and sadly it will be my last. They served me undercooked food. I ordered burgers, chicken tenders and a shake and split it with my husband. Burgers were okay, shake was watered down. One of my chicken tenders tasted funny. And a good portion of the center was undercooked and raw in the center.

That's a shame. My family always liked going there. The Wendy's across the street also closed (the same day as Freddy's). Hopefully we can get a new burger place in that same location and price range.

The last several times things have improved dramatically here in customer service, cleanliness, and quality of the food. I'm happy to see that they've put in the effort because it has really payed off! Keep doing the good things that you're doing, Freddy's, because I really want my Vienna Beef brand hot dogs and those super skinny crispy fries that I love!

Do you remember the commercials from the 1980's that asked "Where's the Beef?" Yeah, that's what this visit seemed like.

The burgers are extremely thin, seemingly poor quality meat - not much consistency to them at all. I'd rather go to five guys any day of the week for much better burgers and fries.

After coming here for burgers/fries and to meet up with some family that was in from out of town who insisted we try the place, I have decided Freddy's is not for me.

First time at Freddy's. We were quickly greeted as we walked in. The cashier was very friendly and displayed great customer service.
We ordered grilled chicken sandwiches, cheese burgers, steak burger and chili cheese fries. My goodness those chili fries tasted like the ones we have In California's food chain Wienerschnitzel. The fries are thin cut so you don't feel as bad when you are eating them:) The grilled sandwich was just right. I didn't realize they have their special sauces. I'm sure if I would have noticed it early the taste would have been different. I personally don't care for too much on a sandwich so I like the idea you can add as many condiments as you wish.
I like the vibe, customer service and cleanliness. We had two workers check up on us during our dinner. The manager came by and we told her it was our first time and acknowledge the cashier friendliness. The manager offered us free custards as a welcome for our first dinning experience. That's awesome customer service. I will definitely have to try their custards next time.

Freddy's is extremely addictive. Their steakburgers are full of flavor and their fries are seasoned perfectly. The staff is friendly and prompt. The restaurant is clean with a nostalgic diner vibe.

      Noteworthy:

      - Try their special sauces with your fries!
      - Save room (if possible) for dessert!

I went to Freddy's awhile back for the first time to see what all the fuss was about. I got a bacon burger & fries. The service was EXCELLENT because the manager, Dadrian, catered to us being first-timers...BUT, that hamburger was SO TOUGH & impossible to chew. I had to keep spitting out the meat. If I were rating just the food, I would be giving 1 star...but the service made up for the bad burger. The custard was delicious & my kids enjoyed their meal. I might go back just to try something else.

The meat was extremely too tough. You need razor blade shark teeth just to get through it.

This place was good - the closest thing to in and out you're going to find in NC. The shakes and malts were tasty also, and the staff was always friendly.

      Unfortunately, they are closed now.

I prefer Steak and Shake as this is obviously a knock off. Their bowl chili is not very good....its paste and not distinguishable (no clue what's in it). The burgers and dogs are okay.the standout is the very thin shoestring fries....they are amazing.

This is fast food, pure and simple. It's better than McDonald's but not as good as Steak and Shake. Won't go out of my way to eat there.

Every time I have come here the service has been good the food has been delicious and the dining room has been clean. Definitely the best place to get a fast food burger! The custard is also fantastic.
