If you are looking for Jamaican meat pies here is your place. They have chicken, curry chicken, beef, spicy beef and veggies meat pies.
They also have Caribbean spices, goat, red snapper, grouper, plantains, oxtails and others items. It's clean, easy parking and friendly staff.
The meats are frozen and the quality looks good. The frozen fish I purchased today have clear eyes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Robin B.Southfield, MI08Oct 15, 2023

This is a really cool African market to check out.
They mostly sell your basic stuff: seafood, yam, soaps, juices, etc.
If you're looking for more specific stuff, you won't find it. But they had a good selection is stuff.
Staff was friendly and smiley!
Parking is a little weird. The parking area is kinda small.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 13Oh no 0 - Cothbert C.Novi, MI021Apr 17, 2022

Best, and in some cases the only, Detroit area venue for African & Caribbean foods. They've got it! Fresh plantains, yams, cassava, bulla, hard-dough bread, Jamaican patties, huge bags of rice, cubes, soaps, soda-pop, malta, snacks, . . . Been shopping there forever. Love it!

No stars for this place. This store has lousy customer service. The ground meat we bought was full of fat and we paid top dollar for it. When we called to complain, the ignorant butcher said to bring back the fat we picked out and he would replace it. What kind of a response is that? The fat was in the garbage. Seriously? They refused to give a partial refund or credit on a future purchase. The old owner refused to make it right. If you want lousy customer service from a business that doesn't care, then go by all means, patronize this business. I know I will never shop there again.
If I could post 0 stars, I would.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yinka C.Royal Oak, MI51515Mar 11, 2018
Moving from Houston (where there's a African market on every corner) to Detroit, I was worried about finding a grocery to that would have all the Nigerian ingredients I needed. Once I walked in I immediately was put at ease, because this place has EVERYTHING! They even have things it would be a little challenging to find in Houston. I enjoy shopping here on top of the fact that they have a friendly staff who are always helpful and welcoming.

This is one of my go to places when I want food from HOME. yes they have all the Caribbean favorites, as well as African, and even some Asian foods that I enjoy. the selection is top rate. the prices may be a little high, but the service makes it all worth it. Fresh Frozen Fish, Frozen Vegetables from the tropics; and of course every type of rice your tastebuds could desire. if you are a connoisseur of the spicy - look no further than the second aisle where the scotchbonnets and dragon scorpion pepper sauces sit alongside Matouks sweet and firey chutney. When I found this shop, in my new neighborhood - I was more than elated. if you want the best in African Foods and Caribbean Foods please do yourself a favor and stop here. their selection and personal service will turn you into a regular after your first visit. Fridays they have Fresh Hot Jamaican Patties !!!! get them before they're gone

All I have to say is wow this place is fabulous I was on the look for some Jamaican spices and I was told there was a store in the Detroit suburb Which was K and F International Market and not only did they have the Jamaican spices and sauces but they offered all of the Jamaican yams sweet potatoes and everything you find in Jamaica in one store this place is a gem and must checked out..
