I had the worst nightmare today! I took about 7 outfit photos for my blog and my SD card stopped working and wouldn't read on my laptop! So I've now lost a few thousand photos on my SD card so I'm going to have to retake the blog photos I took today and I've lost a lot of photos from press days and fashion events (cry!) and I don't have a back up!
But It's not quite the end of the world because I managed to download these blog photos before my SD card broke! I recently got a blue dress from Missguided and I absolutely LOVE it's the perfect shift dress for this season!

Shoes - Cloggs(*)(similar here) I've teamed this dress with my new Marc B bag which I absolutely love it's so handy! This bag is the perfect evening bag and it's making a statement as it's blue too! It has three compartments and it will fit perfume, purse and keys and make up inside easily! It's a great little purchase to add to your wardrobe and will look great with so many outfits! I think this is a great outfit for an evening out/meal out as it's quite a simple dress! I think when wearing this dress it's essential to wear a necklace or a piece of statement jewellery with it as it makes the neckline of the dress really stand out!

Bag - Marc B(*) I think this is a dress you can wear year after year and it's a timeless piece you can add to your wardrobe. I think it'll look great with any sort of heel and the brighter the heels the better! For a night out on the town I'd wear it with massive wedges and bright lipstick with really big hair!

I absolutely love this nail trio gift set! I love mini nail polishes and this set makes them even more handbag friendly! I have fallen a little bit in love with these rabbit slippers and they're only £12! They look so fluffy and soft i'm so tempted to make a purchase of these myself! I recently got a copy of this book and I absolutely loved reading it and it'd make the perfect present for a fashion obsessed friend!
One thing I do struggle with at christmas time is finding cheap perfume sets and I have found some bargains on TJ Hughes! I've always wanted Dot by Marc Jacobs and I'm really loving Vera Wang Princess! I think they are great gifts and perfect for that special friends if you have a little extra money to spare! A cheaper alternative gift is this Cat Iphone case and on New Look there's an Iphone 4 case online too at only £4.99! My favourite item from this list is the 'Parties with my Bitches' photo album! This is the perfect gift for any best friend as you can get some photos printed (snapfish or photobox are normally quite cheap) from facebook/instagram photos and stick all your favourite photos in an album!

I'd wear them with a fluffy jumper like this one with a leather jacket and chunky ankle boots! I love this nude playsuit and I really want to add this to my wardrobe this season! I think it'd look amazing on a night out with a pair of black heels and big hair and this perspex clutch would look gorgeous with it too! I'm a massive fan of checked leggings and these ones are perfect to wear with blouses, over sized t-shirts and jumpers for a casual look! I ADORE this beaded cami top it's so perfect for christmas! I'd team it with disco pants and bright heels for a night out or with sandals like these ones!

This was a trend I didn't think I'd love. When I first saw Lauren Pope sporting a PVC skirt on an episode of The Only Way Is Essex I thought she looked amazing and I didn't think I'd like this trend or being able to pull this off! I was having a browse online and came across this cheaper version of a high-street brand skirt and thought why not give it a go and try styling it!

PVC Mini Skirt - Missguided(*) This might just be my favourite outfit at the moment. I recently got this AMAZING jacket from Miss Selfridge and I literally live in it. It's so warm, cozy and perfect for this winter! I think it looks great with an oversized jumper underneath and a pair of patterned trousers! I've teamed it up with this fluffy jumper from Missguided with my new PVC skirt!

PVC Mini Skirt - Missguided(*) I was pleasantly surprised at how well this skirt fits when it's on and how comfortable it is to wear! I genuinely didn't think PVC would be comfortable?! I thought It'd be tight and really uncomfy! (a Nicki Minaj impression fail in the middle there haha!) I really like this Aubergine version of this skirt too!

PVC Mini Skirt - Missguided(*) I can't wait to wear this skirt a lot more this autumn/winter! It immediately makes a statement and really makes your outfit stand out! I love the midi PVS skirts around at the moment but also the skater PVC skirts too!

I think a PVC skirt is a great stylish edition to add to your wardrobe and a bargain too at only £17.99! It'll look great with blouses during the day and for a going out look a crop top with sky high heels!

It feels like forever since I last blogged! Had a hectic week and hopefully next week will be a lot more chilled! I'm really into tartan at the moment just like every autumn/winter and I seem to be building up a tartan collection! I have a couple of tartan scarves, tshirts, shirts and I've recently added a new addition to my wardrobe TARTAN LEGGINGS!. So I thought I'd show you all a way which I currently wear my tartan treggings!

Treggings - Topshop I'm currently wearing these treggings with my favourite new crop top from Missguided! I literally live in this crop top at the moment as I absolutely love it I'm currently eyeing up this gorgeous white version too! I love this top as it's the perfect staple to last you all year round. It looks amazing with high-waisted trousers, disco pants, skater skirts and high waisted jeans and shorts! (what's not to love?!)

Treggings - Topshop I love this outfit combination together and with a bright lipstick this outfit really stands out! For a night out I'd wear this outfit with a massive pair of wedges and a leather jacket on top (in case it's really cold!) there's loads of ways to wear these treggings during the day too. I love wearing mine with oversized t-shirts and jumpers but also with a plain blouse and cute ankle socks! I think these treggings look AMAZING with a fluffy jumper too to keep you warm this season!

Ever since getting this crop top I'm finding more and more ways to wear it. I've loved mom jeans for months now and wear them most days. So I thought I'd team this crop top and mom jeans together!

Mom Jeans - Topshop I absolutely love this outfit and I love how well this crop top goes with these mom jeans. I have mom jeans in a few shades from Topshop and they are so comfy and wearable. I love these acid wash jeans and they look perfect with a crop top or an oversized jumper!

Mom Jeans - Topshop I've never worn jeans on a night out and I'm so tempted to now after styling this outfit together! I loved going to house/rnb clubs while I was at university and was always going out in trainers and this is the sort of outfit I'll be wearing next time I go out to a rnb/house club! I love how the bright coral lipstick contrasts with this outfit too and adds a pop of colour!

(I'm wearing trainers with this outfit but you can't see them!) I love how well this outfit goes together and for a simple daytime to night time look i'd wear a jumper and leather jacket over this outfit during the day and change the jumper for some bright lipstick and false lashes for a night time look!

I've made a promise to myself that I'll post more outfit posts starting from now! So hopefully I'll be able to make the most of the current daylight which isn't great to be able to take more photos! I was thinking of other ways to wear these trousers from Missguided. I love wearing them with baggy jumpers and blouses but I was trying to think of a new way to wear them and then I got this crop top!

I would wear this outfit on a night out clubbing but also probably during the day with a plain coloured fluffy jumper on top and team these trousers up with a pair of chunky cut out boots!

I love how both the trousers and top are so versatile too so you can mix and match these items so easily to make other outfits! I love wearing these trousers with a cami top and a statement necklace!

I was recently tagged by the lovely Gracie from Ugly Face of Beauty to do the '50 Facts About Me' tag so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I know as bloggers and blog readers we're nosey people and I know i'm the type of person to LOVE reading this type of post and so I thought I'd add in a few photos too to make it a little more interesting and give you an insight to a little bit more about me!

So Here it goes...
1. I've been obsessed with diet coke and have been for years and will only order diet coke in fast food restaurants!

2. I've got an obsession with Topshop. I can't help but walk into every store I go past and have a look inside!

3. I have to sleep with a lot of pillows around me to be as comfy as possible!

4. I have over 300 fashion magazines in my room on bookshelves and I love flicking back through them!

5. I love to go and visit friends who live up and down the country I went to see one of my best friends in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne which took 8 hours on the coach!

6. I left university as I didn't enjoy my course but I'm hoping to go back and study something else. (You can read about my university experience here)

7. I've been obsessed by fashion since I first picked a copy of Elle magazine 8 years ago.

8. I used to skive lessons at high school/sixth form to travel to fashion events in London. It's been really worth it though!

9. My favourite cocktail is a cosmopolitan and I'll find any excuse to go out for a cocktail (or two!)

10. My food weakness is chips. I'll eat them anytime of day and I'll even order an extra portion of chips whenever I'm in macdonalds!

12. My favourite band is TLC and favourite song is No Scrubs (watch the video here)

13. I used to have flute lessons and really wanted to be a musician when I was older!

14. I've watched Eastenders for years and It's still my favourite soap

15. I own nearly 100 different colours of nail polish (you can never have too many right?!)

16. I still haven't passed my driving test (this will happen one day WHEN I HAVE A LUCKY DAY)

17. Every autumn/winter I'll search high and low in every shop and supermarket possible for a white terry's chocolate orange as I never seem to be able to find one!

18. I've watched every season of X Factor since it began 10 years ago!

19. I am obsessed with R&B singer Lemar and have been since he was on Fame Academy in 2002 when I was just 8 years old and I've bought every album he's ever made and he even follows me on Twitter!

20. I have no piercings or tattoos.

21. I used to live opposite a Macdonalds when I was at university and would often run across the road at 10.55pm (it closed at 11) for a mc chicken sandwich or a mcflurry!

22. I love a night out with the girls and I'm always up for going out as it's an excuse to dress up and have fun!

23. I find it really hard to sleep before midnight so I'm always up late.

24. I suffer from a life long illness and I wrote about it here.

25. I've got an obsession with eggs especially poached eggs. Eggs benedict being my favourite! (If you've not noticed from Instagram) I like to eat them all the time and can go through a box of twelve eggs in a week...



26. I don't like marmite.

27. I believe in God and have grown up going to church.

28. I love to travel and would love to visit as many countries in the world as possible.

29. My dream career is to work in Fashion PR/Social Media.

30. I'd love to own my own PR company one day for it to have offices all over the world!

31. I did 3 weeks worth of charity work in South Africa in summer 2012.



32. When I first started writing fashion-train it was called 'fashionista-geeklyxo' and I'd never read a fashion blog before.

33. When I wake up every morning the first thing I do is check Twitter and Instagram.

34. I used to own over 50 pairs of shorts!

35. I used to have over 150 pairs of shoes (don't worry I've had a massive clear out!)

36. I've spent a lot of my birthday on holiday in a caravan.

37. Whilst I was in Africa I held the 3rd most poisonous snake in the world!



38. I spent 17 hours at Dubai Airport hopping from Macdonalds and Burger King and reading foreign fashion magazines as I didn't remember to get a visa to go outside the airport (blonde moment!)

39. My favourite tv show is Friends and I could watch it on repeat all day every and not get bored of it!

40. I have no room in my room as I have too many clothes but I seem to continue to keep buying more...

41. I've had my Iphone 4 for 3 years and it's not been replaced once and I really can't wait till I can finally upgrade it and join the Iphone 5 crew!

42. I'm always the person who need to buy all the september issues of fashion magazines (as they're the biggest fashion issues each year)

43. I've got 5 pairs of converse but only seem to wear the same pair over and over again my trusty white ones!

44. I'm obsessed with the tv show Revenge and love watching each episode as it's such a gripping and exciting tv show!

45. My favourite movies are Bridget Jones & Breakfast at Tiffany's and I'm trying to get all my favourite rom coms on dvd!

46. My favourite chocolate bar is galaxy cookie crumble!

47. I love watching the olympics and screaming at the tv everytime England is on!

48. I only liked doing Art and Textiles at school and would regularly miss science lessons to go and do my textiles coursework!

49. 6 months ago I didn't own a single lipstick and now I seem to have acquired over 20 lipsticks!

50. I like Nutella A LOT and love covering pancakes with it!

She's our favourite friends star and the more I've been watching Friends lately the more I fall in love with Rachel's style. The show was filmed in the 90's and so Rachel's style is completely on trend right now! The more I re-watch all the Friends episodes the more style inspiration I get from Rachel's outfits! I love how she wears dungarees and striped tee shirts teamed with white converse and how she wears oversized tee shirts with mom jeans. I also love how she wears a lot of tartan too. She's a style inspiration right now!

I've been browsing online for the best ways you can steal her style from Friends too and thought I'd put a little wishlist together. I personally would quite happily wear any item off this wishlist as I find Rachel's style is so similar to my own at the moment! I love the idea of a slip dress and how they look really girly. I'd wear this with a pair of converse and thick tights and with a leather jacket on top! I'm a massive fan of mom jeans and I think they are really flattering on smaller figures. I adore this two-tone pair and think they'd look amazing with ankle boots and an oversized tee shirt! I really like how Rachel's always seen in a lot of denim and this denim jacket is completely up her street. I love how it's got a faux fur lining too (to keep you extra warm in the winter!) If there's one thing I love and that's a striped top. I've fallen a little bit in love with this striped crop top and I think it's great because its a high necked crop top too. It's perfect to wear with high waisted trousers!

How amazing is this tartan check skirt?! It's perfect for Autumn/Winter to wear with blouses, baggy tops and oversized jumpers! These cut out boots are essential this season as they are so versatile and will go with any outfit! I really like this slip dress how gorgeous would it look with cut out boots and leather jacket! I'm literally IN LOVE with this striped crop top! It's perfect to wear with high waisted jeans, disco pants and high waisted skirts! One thing I'm loving at the moment is embroided items. These shorts are just too die for! One thing Topshop have got a lot of at the moment is lots of leather! I really like this leather bralet and how gorgeous would it looked with tartan trousers?!

So you've all seen the adverts on tv and the hats on the smoothies in your local supermarkets. It's that time of the year when Innocent Smoothies launch their campaign 'The Big Knit'. This year they've teamed up with supermodel Lily Cole to create a limited edition collection of wolly hats to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Big Knit campaign and all the profits from the lifesized version of the hat go to Age UK.


I love this campaign and how much they raise each year for charity. The life-size collection of hats are amazing as they are hand knitted just like the smoothie bottle hats, the life-size versions have dip dye shades of grey and blue and are made from 100% British wool too!
I've got my own version and wore it in my last blog post! Here's some of the photos of me in the hat! They are available to buy from The North Circular and ALL the sale profits going to Age UK!
Hand knitted just like many of the smoothie bottle hats, these life-size versions have dip dye shades in blue and grey, with a cute bobble on top to give a slouchy style. The hats are made from 100% British wool and include the identity of the granny who knitted it!
