Read Matthew 10:37 and write down what you think Jesus means by that statement? Write your thoughts about how it relates to Genesis 22.

Since Isaac was old enough to carry fire wood up a mountain, what does that tell you about how old he must of been at the time? Write down your thoughts about how old and strong Isaac must have been. Do you think he could have fought his father off if he wanted to? Do you think he willingly did what his father asked even when his father began to tie him up? Write what you think about all of these questions.

Did God ask Abraham to do anything that God wasn't willing to do himself? Write about what this helps you to understand about what God was willing to do for us.

The verses in today's chapter help us to see the importance of our willingness to give everything we have to God. For a few minutes right about some ares of your life that you need to give to God regardless of how important they may be to you.
