Joining Jamaica, Queens’s ever-expanding residential boom is a new 24-story tower set to replace a warehouse on 94th Avenue. YIMBY first reported on the development, which will bring 522 apartments close to the Jamaica LIRR station.

The project is being developed by Phoenix Realty Group along with Artimus Construction; the latter is also working on a 26-story rental development across the street at 147-36 94th Avenue. GF55 Architects is listed as the architect of record on the new 24-story development, which also happens to be the same firm working on the 26-story tower.

From what we know so far about the 24-story development, there will be just over 16,000 square feet of retail on the ground floor, and parking for over 200 cars in two different spaces. Amenities announced so far include two fitness centers, multiple outdoor terraces including a rooftop terrace, a screening room, two children’s playrooms, and a library, among others.

Aside from being close to the 26-story rental, this development is also close to the two-building development at the intersection of Archer Avenue and Sutphin Boulevard, The Crossing at Jamaica Station.
