Disclaimer: Sarcasm is not intended. This post highlights some of the recent events that have taken place. I want to experiment with what people think about the community lately and what they would do in similar cases. This is NOT a thread to criticize staff (your team's doing a good job).

As you all know, staff are our greatest buddies and weapons against hackers. From banning hackers to making the anticheat, they all have their tools at their disposal. Unfortunately for some, these weapons have to be pointed toward our friendly community, whether they're friend or not. It's not that they're friends, but to preserve this server's credit that counts.

Let's take a look at what's happened in the past few days or weeks (main points are #1 and #2):

-NedGaming (you're known in this community) and some donors out there decided to rig games in front of their friends. It happens that 2 of the videos shown in the appeals section have been recorded. We can say that Ned was helping the server as a test subject of this server's tools and it is clear that action has to be taken whether people are friends or not.
https://appeals.cubecraft.net/find_appeals/nedgaming

-Way too many hackers in every game. While hackers are a minority, to have 1 or 2 in every (other) game means the majority of games are rigged.
-Increased lag server-wide. Just days ago, the server became unplayable for most players, if not all.

We might as well allow hacking in order to test this server's weapons a lot more. The anticheat is the server's WIP tool, so staff are our only tools we can use to combat this problem. Given in other servers that their staff have hacked, we can say that even our companions can and may hack. Who knows who is hacking? Your friend? Your own tools used against you? We all have to be careful with what we do.

Bottom line/TL;DR: Don't hack or play with stuff you don't know. It's even worse to try to hide hacks or hack as a donor (as seen with Ryann).

IMHO you're generalizing Staff and "normal players" too much
You're not considering the individuals, IMHO.
We're all just human, afterall.
so staff are our only tools we can use to combat this problem.
I don't know if you want to call these people your tools but whatever floats your boat....
As you all know, staff are our greatest buddies and weapons against hackers.
I mean if a "staff member" is my "buddy" it's not because they just ban hackers, it's because I like them as a person. @Nikoshka Hi

Now this is a pretty controversial subject. I don't think you know what happened with Ned.
He says his account has been stolen, but I do not know about that. If there's something that really matters, is to mind our own business tbh.
Hacking just to be a "test subject" isn't really a valid reason either.
Of course they're gonna ban who hacks, community member or not. It's not like you have any right to hack by being "known".
We might as well allow hacking in order to test this server's weapons a lot more.
That is literally the most dumb logic reaction ever. It's just, like, how does one come up with this conclusion? I don't... just... no.
Given in other servers that their staff have hacked, we can say that even our companions can and may hack.
Oh yeah, if other servers are gonna steal games we're gonna steal them too!
If other servers' staff abuse their powers, we gotta abuse them too!
If other servers decides to close, we should too!
No. That's a really childish way of thinking.
Who knows who is hacking? Your friend? Your own tools used against you? We all have to be careful with what we do.
That's pretty pointless and vague....
Don't hack or play with stuff you don't know.
Yeah kids, don't experiment stuff, live your lives in a wooden box forever!

I mean let's just bring Ryann up for every single hacker figure, it's not like hackers are actual breathing people, nononono, they're all a carbon copy of each other that only want to ruin people's day.
Yeah no. It's really not how it works.

I have gotten to know quite a few of the staff members, and I highly doubt any of them hack. I do think it is good that you want to stop hacking, but suspecting staff, the people who spend sooo much time on the server, is not even thinkable.

R.I.P. I was sitting there thinking of what all to say, and how to word it, and in that time you replied. XD

I mean, some of them did use to hack, but it's just the past afterall and they shouldn't get judged by what they did in the past as most of them have changed.

Yeah, people can change.
They can have good times, and bad times. Those times can depict what they do and how they act.
I do not believe any of the staff hack, they spend so much time helping the server. I do not know all of them, or even half of them, but the ones I do know, I know do not hack.

Think about it.
What if you were a staff member?
Obviously you'd call the other staff friends, and you would have to turn in a friend if they were to hack.
Rules are rules, and there's nothing you can do against that.
Bottom line/TL;DR: Don't hack or play with stuff you don't know. It's even worse to try to hide hacks or hack as a donor (as seen with Ryann).
Well thanks captain obvious...

If you think that people use staff as weapons then those people wouldn't be friends with them. Staff are significantly smart. It all goes back to we are all humans. What ping said.

Im used here. Cool
Dude, thats sad. I have no idea why you felt the need to expose that, I mean... Did you even consult him about this? Ned, is my friend and I WILL stand by him. I think that this thread is very... generic...

I take it as if you are nice to others you will get respect, and I have shown love (I hope :3) to everyone (I think), so therefore I'm respected (I hope so)

Unfortunately, I talked about this thread last week on Discord and Mac didn't want this discussion to continue.

Lock is optional, but not needed (no need for lock yet and prefer not to).
Oh were you thinking people liked being called tools?
Thinking they liked being called weapons?
You thought you were in the right when making this thread?
I really don't know what goes through your mind.

I like how people who commented this thread try to (somehow) attack him, instead of giving their thoughts without having preferences or with maturity.

When there is a problem like this, you have to forget everything and just focus on what is happening in that moment.

The weakness of a person is something absurd and it confuses you all.
You are controlled by yourself. That's just smart.

Minecraft is included in the real life. If you got it, good job.

Alright, I have all the data for the forum statistics and curiosities thread, it took me multiple days to get it! The current program I'm using has a processing time of almost 23 hours! Had to use two computers to cut it down to 11.5 hours haha
