For the moment I'm just adding quotes that I find anywhere they happen to be. Current sources of inspiration: Marvel Heroes, Marvel vs Capcom, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Marvel Super Hero Squad Online, Xmen Legends. Please let me know if you find any more sources, and I will add them to this list. The top row has statistics built into it that automatically update, showing where work needs to be done. The top left cell on each sheet is particularly important, as it shows how much of that sheet is complete, as well as the character focus of that sheet. I periodically update that cell with a character that needs work the most on each sheet. These characters are chosen using a variety of factors. Since I work on the spreadsheet the most, I weigh characters higher if I know less about them. I weight characters higher if they are popular. Lastly I weigh characters higher if they don’t have much work done so far. Consider that cell the “bounty board”, so to speak.A note on vandalism: Google keeps revisions every time the spreadsheet is modified. I can easily revert to an earlier version of the spreadsheet without a second thought, so vandalizing the project is simply a waste of your own time. Lastly, thank you for your help!

This project is an attempt to create a living breathing Marvel Universe Sandbox using the game Comic Book Hero by Grey Dog Software as a base. The game already exists, and in fact a very robust Marvel mod already exists, which was made by Wudu. The mod has over 450 characters, heroes, villains, anti-heroes, side characters, and more. They go about their daily lives in a very believable fashion. Villains scheme, heroes thwart them, and you can take over any of them and join in. It's only missing one thing - life. All of the characters are silent as of now. They have believable art and behavior, but no dialogue. Comic Book Hero supports dialogue, there just aren't any entries, and this is because it would be a massive undertaking to add. I've already started the process of doing this, but it's going to take me a long time alone. That's why I started this initiative. The goal here is to have heroes and villains that recognize and respond to each other verbally. It's possible. Here is the game in action with the Marvel mod, but without dialogue.I have started this spreadsheet to collect these verbal quotes that the characters are known for saying. If the character never said it, I try to pick something the character WOULD say. Since there are over 25 quotable situations for 450+ characters, I am hoping to make this a collaborative process for anybody interested in an immersive, interactive Marvel Sandbox. I've tried to do my research and find believable quotes for each person, and I expect that anybody that contributes knows that they are adding something believable as well. Comic Book Hero has "triggers" for when a quote is chosen to say, and those triggers are the columns. The rows, are the characters. Just find a row and a trigger, and add a quote. For instance, the first column is battle cries. (Flame on!) Along the bottom of the sheet you will find the characters are categorized by letter to make them easy to find.Comic Book Hero supports quotes that trigger under VERY specific circumstances, like when a particular hero is fighting a particular villain. Like Venom calling out Spiderman. That is not yet the goal of this project. Those will get added later, and that will be awesome when I get to it. Right now I'm focused on generic battle quips that are not directed at a specific individual. If you do, however want to direct a line directly at the player, use the @ symbol, as that will be filled in with the player's name. Some characters speak in specific ways, or do not speak in certain situations. These cells will have color highlighting, there is a key below this text that shows what all of the highlights mean.
