    I wanted this toy because I heard it’s a good toy to help teach your baby cause and effect. (I press this button and an animal pops up). My baby is 4.5 months. She is entertained by this toy for sure. She is still not old enough to use it on her own, but she likes watching me press the buttons and seeing the toys pop up. The only reason I gave this toy 4 stars is because it sometimes startles my baby when the animals pop up (probably just her age). The animals also seem like they are made a little cheap. But for the price this is a good toy! I also don’t see it breaking easily at all.

    I purchased this toy for my 10 month old son. While he isn’t quite ready for all the features of this toy, he does enjoy interacting with it.

    Cons: It can be a finger pincher. When closing the lids, little fingers can get pinched between the lid and the toy. It’s sort of a learning curve. My son caught on pretty quickly not to put his fingers under the lids.
    Some of the buttons difficult. The press down button needs some pressure to pop the lid. More than a small finger of a young child. The switch type button is also hard to press down. Possibly the more it’s used the easier it gets, but so far it hasn’t.

    Pros: Fun colors, animals, and loud pop sounds. Perfect cause and effect toy for toddlers. No batteries required!
