Monster Hunter World trailer heads to Wildspire Waste

A new Monster Hunter World trailer is loose, showing the desert climate of Wildspire Waste. It’s a dry expanse for the most part, but apparently also has some swamp-lands too.

Naturally, it’s inhabited by multiple types of beast. The Barroth is returning, and hunting around for ants to eat. Disturb it by entering its territory, though, and you’ll be on the receiving end of a charge. You may also spot the Kulu-Ya-Ku, a bird creature that steals other monster’s eggs from both the Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste.

Monster Hunter World will come to the PC at some point in 2018. It’ll be after the console versions (in “early” 2018), that’s about all we know for now.
