Ahmed Musa leaves Leicester signing four year contract with Saudi Arabian clubside Al Nassr

SUPER Eagles striker Ahmed Musa has finally sealed his transfer to Saudi Arabian clubside Al Nassr signing a four year deal with the team said to be worth in the region of £14.8m with the possibility of it rising to £25m with appearances.

Al Nassr have been on Musa's tail since his World Cup heroics and the club is said to have offered the striker £40m for his services. According to reports from the country the club is willing to pay him a salary that will possibly make him the highest earning African player in Saudi Arabia.

However, Leicester City were reluctant to sell the player as they see Musa as an ideal replacement for Riyad Mahrez who recently departed for Manchester City. However, earlier this week, Musa left Leicester City's training camp in Austria to fly to the Middle East to put pen to paper on a new contract.

Musa, 25, joined English Premiership side Leicester City for a record £16.6m in 2016 but failed to hold down a place and was loaned back to his old club CSKA Moscow for part of last season. However, he had a brilliant World Cup, scoring twice during Nigeria's 2-0 victory over Iceland, thus attracting numerous suitors.

Described as a mouth watering deal, Musa's contract also includes several add-ons which will see the value of the contract rise to as high as £25m with time. It is believed that Leicester will receive additional payments the more the player features for the Riyad clubside.
