The techniques for this course are based on Ninjutsu, an ancient, timeless Japanese martial art that is one of the most comprehensive systems of self-defense. Unlike many other "martial arts", it has never been modified into a sport with a fixed set of rules. It has evolved with each generation and adapted to current conditions and technologies. It is flexible, effective and realistic. As a rule, attackers are bigger, stronger and fitter than their victims. In Ninjutsu, we therefore do not fight with strength against strength or speed against speed, but rather gain the necessary advantage by applying universal principles and utilizing our own body. Ninjutsu is therefore suitable for all people regardless of age, stature and fitness level.
Contents include Defense against grabs, grapples, punches and kicks, chokes, hugs, against the wall, sitting, on the floor, etc. We practise in a safe environment where participants can determine and get to know their own limits and exchange ideas with others in a relaxed atmosphere.
