Another great short series by one of my favorite authors! Natalee and Jason don't seem to be able to catch a break and they keep taking the hits. This series shows how when we don't expect it, love will find a way, but we must keep the lines of communication open.

In this conclusion of The Sweetest Jerk, we find Natalee and Jason have spent a beautiful evening together on his boat "Delilah". Jason has taken Natalee where he has taken no other woman and their connection has grown stronger together....until the incessant ringing of her cellphone in the early morning ruins everything. They were notified that someone has taken pictures of them aboard the boat with another woman claiming she is pregnant with his baby, and Natalee is his mistress.
Without giving Jason a chance to figure things out and explain what is happening, Natalee breaks up with Jason and finds herself the topic of headlines in the tabloids. Her business is taking a terrible hit with the lies that are being spread about her so she goes in to seclusion.
Meanwhile, Jason's business is also being dragged down by the rumors, and his board members have asked him to step down from his position and take a vacation until the buzz dies down. He too, goes into seclusion and decides the best thing for Natalee is for him to leave her alone and let her get on with her life....without him.

What an amazing way to close a series! This is book 3 in the Sweetest Jerk series and it's the conclusion to Natalie and Jason's story. Surprise! Who knew such a blast from Jason's past was coming. Even though it was quick, it was a very complete part of the story. It's a sad and regretful part of his life.

I love it when an author puts strong female characters in her stories. I didn't care for Natalie's mom at all, especially when she was flirting with Jason. Natalie and Delia are fantastic, strong women. Hmmmm... maybe Delia will get her own story? Who knows! I'm definitely looking forward to reading whatever this fabulous author comes out with next.

So, how will the jerk, Jason, get himself out of his latest mess? Just as Natalee and Jason finally find trust and open up their hearts to each other, a blast from Jason’s past shatters everything. This is really Jason’s opportunity to show how he’s changed and grown up really. This has all the fun and sexiness with a heavy dose of drama to see if Jason and Natalee will find their HEA.
