PVTrans OilField Services is a professional provider of maritime transportation and services to the oil and gas industry in Viet Nam and abroad (FSO/FPSO, O&M...). We are now looking for O&M Operations Manager to join our team for Sao Vang-CPP and Dai Nguyet-WHP project.
Specific Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be required to undertake the required job duties.
• Ensures that all operations activities performed by PVTrans and their contractors are conducted safely, cost effectively and in line with environmental and operational standards.
• In conjunction with the Client’s Operations Manager will ensure the technical integrity of the operations assets and the health & safety of all departmental staff.
• Shall implement jointly agreed short and long term objectives for the Operations Department and has the responsibility for: production, maintenance, and procurement and operations onshore base.
• Responsible for all activities & budgets related to the above functions, including the quality of materials, services and personnel associated with the activities.
• Ensures that procedures and standards for all key activities are in place and adhered to and that channels of communication are fit to purpose and properly implemented.
• To implement the objectives in Operations set out in the work plan and budget. To ensure that all employees and contractors clearly understand their rolls in achieving the objectives.
• To initiate and monitor teams assigned to particular Operations tasks and projects, ensuring that results are achieved on a timely basis.
• To initiate and ensure that appropriate training & development for operations personnel at all levels according to job requirements is in place.
• To work in conjunction with other Departments to ensure effective and timely response to Operations requirements.
• Ensures the preparation of calls for tender and quotation for all spares and services and projects within the Operation department, in line with company policies and procedures and ensures that the company operates cost effectively.
• To be the custodian of best practices in the areas of operations and ensures that he remains abreast of new developments in his field and that best practices are implemented in the Operations
• Maintains control and responsibility for the Operations budget
Minimum Competencies:
• Graduate engineer with over 15 years of experience in production operations, maintenance, engineering design & construction with exposure to logistics and procurement, offshore and onshore.
• Proven experienced with HSEQ management
• Experience of managing teams of multi-discipline operations staff, offshore & onshore
• Commercially astute and experience of managing multimillion $ budgets.
• Understanding of Vietnamese culture and application of quality processes.
• Proficient in English both oral and written.
• Effective communication skills (oral, written, and computer)
Salary: Competitive

Contract duration: 2 years
