Patient Care: A Design Thinking Problem Every 15 Minutes
I had my first clinic today after an entire year of being on sabbatical with no patient care responsibilities. It was a bit harrowing since I had to learn how to use Epic EMR in a rapid fire manner in one afternoon. But it was really exciting and rewarding to see my patients with diabetes and their families. I now view the clinical world with a new perspective as a design thinker. Every visit, every encounter with a patient is a design opportunity waiting to be realized!
