LG, one of the leading smartphone maker has recently launched the flagship smartphone of the company LG G5, now the company has launched the accessories for this latest handset, named as LG G5 Friends. The LG Friends like CAM Plus, Hi-Fi Plus, 360 Camera and 360 VR are the latest modular gadgets that can be attached with LG G5. These accessories can be added to the G5 through the removable battery under their new Modular Design. The company has not revealed the prices of all LG Friends product but the prices of the accessories launched in India has been revealed - LG CAM Plus has been priced at Rs. 6500, LG 360 CAM at Rs. 2140 and LG 360 VR at Rs. 21990.
The LG Cam Plus has the ability to give more versatile control over the camera and at the same time provides you an additional 1200 mAh of battery. By default, the phone comes with just 2800 mAh of battery capacity but after attaching this friend, the total battery power of the handset reaches to a total of 4000 mAh. This gadget not only provides a better grip like a DSLR but also comes with an analog zoom dial and a special shutter button along with a video button.
The LG Cam 360 offers an amazing 360-degree photo viewing tool with G5 which gets synced easily with this smartphone that enables astonishing image viewing feature. The design of this gadget looks very similar to the Ricoh’s camera. The camera is powered with a 16MP back to back dual camera’s that capture photos that are later stitched to give you a perfect 360-degree shot. For the video purpose, this device comes with a 2K video recording along with a 5.1 surround sound audio that can be recorded through the three microphones. Through LG Cam, 360 images can be directly uploaded to Google Maps Street View and YouTube that can be watched by others. The incorporation of the Google Maps Street View feature would be one of the best features that someone could use with this Cam 360 camera.
The LG Rolling Bot is the another accessory that has been launched and is very entertaining and useful as well. This is designed on the Lines of the BB Sphere Camera that offers some fun time at home and also take care of the house when no one is at home. The device has a ball shaped design that allows the user to offer it to a pet or child for playing and also allowing to record some special moments.
The LG Smart Controller has been launched with a collaboration with Parrot giving you easy control over Drones as it helps in piloting a drone very easily offering them to easily manage them, stabilize it and also giving them the option to try in different dimensions. This G5 accessory can be picked up with a Parrot Drone along with the Smart Controller and can be used to record videos as well.
The LG 360 VR Headset is very much similar to the Samsung VR Kit but with the friends manager you can easily pair it with your LG g5 handset. The design is much smaller and would feel like the Google cardboard, but again it's an odd pairing with the LG G5. As of now there’s no pricing information and a must be noted that you will have to connect this gadget with the USB TYPE-C on the bottom of the G5.
