Specific Accountabilities:
- Senior Authority [REP] for all matters of electrical safety on the Facility.
- Responsible for the control and safety of all electrical equipment on the platform.
- To maintain the process plant and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Carry out planned preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance in accordance with maintenance management system.
- Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with IKC’s Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) policy, procedures and Safety Management System.
- Comply with all relevant SHE policies and procedures where appropriate.
- Actively participate and support all Safety, Health and Environment plans, initiatives and improvements.
- Carry out all activities in accordance with PTW system.
- Comprehensive and detailed Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks.
- Report all accidents and incidents.
- Develop and implement individual training plans prior to assessment as Competent/ Authorized Electrical Persons.
- Responsible for assessing and evaluating candidates for Electrical Competence.
- Complete preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with CMMS schedule and work instructions, with particular emphasis on safety critical activities.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all platform equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly.
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out and apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques.
- Carry out major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on platform equipment.
- Carry out and participate in Root Cause Analysis to improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure comprehensive work history is recorded in CMMS and any follow up work and material required is identified.
- Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift and crew change.
- Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency in cost or time without loss of integrity and present idea(s) to relevant management support and improve team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Manage & supervise effectively
- Monitor and maintain environmental control measures
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Displays Leadership skills.
- Accredited Competency Assessor Qualification Preferred.
- Sources electrical technical manufacturer information.
- Practices Electrical Safe Working Practices.
- Can apply first aid for electrical injuries.
- Maintains Hazardous areas and EX certified Equipment.
- Conducts Electrical Isolations MV & LV.
- Conducts MV / LV Switching.
- Maintains Power / Protection Relays.
- Maintains Power Generation and Distribution.
- Maintains Motors.
- Maintenance of Electrical Switchgear & Operations.
- UPS Operation & Maintenance.
- Conducts Black Start Procedure.
- Work Place Assessor.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal.
Working location: Onshore Vung Tau then moving to offshore work in Q2 2020
