Hello.

I have a serious problem updating the Intel HD Graphics 630 graphics card driver. At first, the problem was to launch a new version of the intro. Intalator displayed a message that it could not check the system version and quit. It helped remove the driver and immediately launch the installer. After installation, Windows Update has started to "update" the driver to version 21.20.16.4542! I do not have the option to run the 4678, 4771, or 4815 driver, as this shows me:

I have not been able to install the driver through the .exe and .zip files, an update attempt through the Device Manager ends with the message that the driver is "best" for the device.

 

What is the problem?

Hi,

 

You can get around the restriction imposed by the oem graphics package by manually installing the generic Intel Graphics driver as follows.

 

First, download the latest Intel HD630 driver for your notebook from the link below and save it to your Downloads folder - you need the second option ( ie win64_154702.4815.zip ).

 

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27199/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-47-?pr...

 

When done, download and install the .64bit version of 7-Zip on the link below.

 

http://www.7-zip.org/

 

When you've installed 7-Zip, open your Downloads folder, right click on the win64_154702.4815.zip package, select 7-Zip, select extract files and then click Ok.

 

Cut this newly extracted folder and paste it on your Desktop so it's easy to find.

 

When done, hold down the Windows key and press R

 

Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.

 

In Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right click the Intel 630 device and select 'Update Driver Software'.

 

In the following window, select 'Browser my computer for driver software' and then select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'.

 

In the next window, click the 'Have Disk' button and then browse to the extracted Intel win64_154702.4815 folder you pasted on your Desktop.

 

Browse into the sub-folder Graphics, left click on the file igdlh64.INF to highlight it and then click Open.

 

Click on 'Ok' and then click 'Next' and wait for the driver to install.

 

When done, click 'Close' and then click 'Yes' to restart the notebook.

I followed this step by step and it did not work. I have the HP Omen gaming laptop and error code 39 saying: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39). Please can you help me, this article did not work for me and when I tried installing the file you linked it just said this: Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device.
