Hello! I'm Adrian, the host and content creator behind Waking Cosmos, a philosophy podcast and video series exploring the nature of consciousness, reality, and life's place in the universe. Our immediacy to this fact often leads us to overlook this profound mystery. But what is the nature of consciousness, and how does it fit into reality? What are the possible futures of minds in the universe? What does it mean that the universe is, as the philosopher Thomas Nagel puts it, "gradually waking up?"&nbsp; In Waking Cosmos I take an open-minded&nbsp;yet philosophically literate approach to these mysteries, and explore theories and edge possibilities which expand the imagination.&nbsp;On the podcast I talk with philosophers, scientists, and experts who offer their unique perspectives on consciousness and our situation in reality. In video episodes I use my love of filmmaking to explore subjects in philosophy and consciousness studies.&nbsp; My dream, with your help, is to create regular, high quality content that is, first and foremost inspiring, philosophically literate, and open-minded about the extraordinary mysteries of life and the universe.
