WINE AND CHOCOLATE
I loved this story that takes place is Italy and all the wine tours. The story is so well described you feel as if you are on the tours, seeing the vineyards and wine cellars. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat as the story holds so many emotions from loss, anger, deceit, betrayal, adventure, new love, forgiveness and acceptance. The story has a fun cast of characters with witty and entertaining dialog. Erika tries to relive part of her late parents pass by visiting Tuscany. This dream trip is provided by her employer who is like a father to her, and he tells her it is for pleasure not work. But the mind can see so many new ideas for the store back in Washington. When the scheduled tour guide, Phillip Arthur, takes ill, he asks family friend Massimo Conte to please take his place. Massimo and Erika are the only singles on this tour and it gives them time to be together and fall in love, but what will happen when her time is up and she is to return home to America? Can a holiday romance become a lifetime of happily ever after? Disclosure: I was given an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions, and ratings are my own.

What can be better than wine and chocolate? Possibly a trip to Tuscany, it is for Erika. She gets the best of both worlds when she takes a tour of all tours. When she lays her eyes on the hottest man she has ever seen, things get even better. Massimo takes her on the tour of her life both on the bus and off. When things seem to be going beautifully something happens getting in their way of the growing love they share for each other. Then mama jumps in to solve the mystery and bring love back into her life. Angela Ford did one heck of a job bringing this story to life as well as the characters.

I received this in the box set for an honest review.

Angela Ford’s Christmas in Tuscany: Christmas Romance Book Three of the Places to See Italy series was enjoyable adventure. Erika is a wine buyer for a department store. When she is given a vacation for Christmas, she chooses to use the time to go on a wine tour of Tuscany. The tour is mostly couples so Erika thinks she is safe from having to deal with men hitting on her. That is until she meets the tour guide Massimo, who also owns a vineyard on the tour. There were lots of twists and turns in this story and I loved every minute of it.

I received a copy of this book from a Good Reads giveaway, and I thank the author for sending the book to me. It was a delightful quick read (112 pages) obviously taking place in Tuscany visiting vineyards. The romance was a perfect touch of girl meets boy, a little intrigue when family gets in the scene, and ultimately they all lived happily ever after. For me it was a nice break after reading WWII bios. Thank you.

Erika wants to see Tuscany. Her parents had talked about the sights and how much they loved it. So when her boss offers her a vacation to anywhere she takes it. Planning on seeing the vineyards and sights she doesn't plan on falling for her guide, Massimo.
