Wing'store is a fictional sportswear store with wing on the logo. Adjectives characterizing the company are modern, dynamic, light and free.
Sketching
Here are presented a few options of logo sketches.
Form creation
The most minimalistic version of the logo was chosen. The tip of the wing was placed inside the logo according to the rule of thirds.
Colors
The colors must be modern, sports and dynamic for this type of company. Eventually a combination of yellow and black was chosen. Yellow is a light, full of joy, dynamic, playful and rare color - ideal for sportswear company. Black color creates one of the strongest contrasts with yellow.
Typography
Eight commercial free fonts were selected. After researching was chosen Montserrat bold font with small changes in the letter G and ' sign. The letter W in this font creates an excellent angle with the logo, and the font looks sportive even in non-italic option.
