Chance the Rapper to Host, Eminem to Perform on 'SNL'

  /  10.30.2017

“SNL” is doubling down on hip-hop with two major bookings in one night.

Chance the Rapper will host for the first time on the Nov. 18 episode of the late-night sketch comedy series, while Eminem will serve as musical guest, the show announced via Twitter.

This will mark Chance’s third appearance on “Saturday Night Live” (he performed in December 2015 and December 2016), while Eminem has graced the famed 30 Rock stage five times, the most recent in November 2013.

The Nov. 18 booking for Eminem fuels rumors of an album release. There are reports that the Detroit rapper will drop his eighth studio album, tentatively titled Revival, on Nov 17.

The superstar bookings continue throughout November. Before Chance and Em, Miley Cyrus will perform on the Nov. 4 episode and Taylor Swift will return as musical guest on Nov. 11 with host Tiffany Haddish.
