Summer is Here!
The docks are in, the grass is green, and we're ready for the holiday weekend!
We're kicking off the summer season this weekend with our Boat and Car show on Saturday at Little Bohemia, and Music in the Park on Sunday at Koller Park.

Manitowish Waters Boat and Car Show - Saturday
Each year, Manitowish Waters and the Little Bohemia Lodge gives you a chance to step back in time and explore timeless automobiles and water crafts. From birch canoes to pre-war boats like a 1936 Chris Craft Runabout, to an original 2006 Ford GT, this show has something for everyone and every generation.
In addition to the boats and cars, activities for the entire family include face painting, games, live music and informational booths. Delicious food and beverages are provided by Little Bohemia Lodge.
Join us and celebrate Memorial Day weekend at this fantastic community event!

Solstice Bike Festival - June 15th and June 16th
The Solstice Bike Festival is a great way to celebrate the official start of summer with a fun, two-day event that celebrates outdoor recreation, family fun and Manitowish Waters!
Join the excitement and camaraderie of the Friday Night Fun Ride, Family Fun Paved Trail Ride and the Century/Half-Century Road/Cranberry Road Ride.
Whether preparing for a week-long tour or charity ride, training for a summer of competitive racing, or simply getting the family out for a ride, the 2018 Solstice Festival offers the perfect courses and many activities.
After a day in the saddle, stick around for a party in the park featuring live music, food, drinks and more. Detailed information and a schedule of events may be found on the Solstice Festival website.

Skiing Skeeters Shows Begin June 16th
The Manitowish Waters Skiing Skeeters are one of the longest running waterski teams in the United States.
Since 1958, the team has put on regular performances for residents and visitors for the area.
Beginning on June 16th, the Skiing Skeeters will dazzle attendees every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:00 pm throughout the summer at Rest Lake Park.

Charles W. Nash & Nash Motors - June 22nd
Join James T.W. Wheary, great grandson of Charles W. and Jessie H. Nash, as he shares the history of Charles, who was the first sitting president of the Buick Motor Company.
This program will be held at Camp Jorn YMCA in Manitowish Waters beginning at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the Frank B. Koller Memorial Library. Tickets are limited so register today!
