AALUSC is a social justice and community organization founded in 1974 and is established as the oldest lesbian organization in the nation serving same gender loving womyn of African descent. AALUSC, which stands for African Ancestral Lesbians United for Societal Change (AALUSC) was originally founded as Salsa Soul Sisters, Third World Wimmin Inc and has acted as a safe space in the lesbian community to thousands of lesbians throughout the years

By getting involved, you would be part of a movement that is committed to the spiritual, cultural, educational, economic and social well-being and empowerment of same gender loving womyn of African descent. Your support will assist in the strengthening and sustaining of the black lesbian community by offering safe spaces to gather and resources as we continue to fight for racial, gender and economic justice and other issues that directly affect us, our community.
