Dear Foster City School Families and Staff,

Do you know of any individuals or organizations who have made significant contributions to the well being of children, youth or families at Foster City School and to our community?

It's time to recognize them by nominating them for an Honorary Service Award to be presented during this year's Founder's Day.

Founder's Day is a reminder of the substantial role that PTA has played locally, regionally, and nationally in supporting parent involvement and working on behalf of all children and families. It's a time to reflect and take pride in our many accomplishments, and to renew our commitment to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education.

Please take a few moments to nominate anyone you feel is deserving of such recognition. Please complete one form per nominated recipient. Anyone can be considered for an Honorary Service Award including current PTA members and officers as well as teachers and administration.

All nominations will be considered. The Honorary Service Awards (HSA) Selection Committee will review all nominations and will select the recipients.

Founder's Day and the Honorary Service Awards Presentation at Foster City Elementary School will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 3:00 PM in the MPR.

Honorary Service Award (HSA)- This award is given to recognize an individual or organization for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them.

Very Special Person Award (VSP) – This award is given to recognize an individual or organization for their service to PTA.

Outstanding Teacher Award (OTA) may be given to recognize a teacher for outstanding service to children and youth through PTSA, school, or community.
