PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR APPLICATION.
Thank you for your interest in the 2018 Agrarian & Worker Struggle in Nicaragua Delegation! All interested individuals must complete a brief application to be considered for participation in the delegation. To apply, we need the following from you:
1. Application (the following Google Form). You will need your passport information. You will receive a copy of your completed answers via email once submitted.
2. Trip deposit of $200. Payments are processed through the Friends of the ATC’s fiscal sponsor, the Alliance for Global Justice. You may either pay via check or online with a credit card. Checks (payable to “Friends of the ATC/AFGJ” with “Nicaragua delegation” in the memo line) can be mailed to: Alliance for Global Justice, 225 E 26th Street, Suite 1, Tucson, AZ 85713, USA. Online payments can be made at
https://org2.salsalabs.com/o/7315/donate_page/friends-of-atc-delegations. Your application is not complete until you submit your trip deposit.
Applications must be received by the end of the day on April 6th, 2018.
Please note: The full cost of the delegation is $1200. The $200 trip deposit is due with application and the remaining amount is due by May 15, 2018. The price includes all meals, housing, in-country transportation, and staff coordination. You are responsible for international airfare and personal expenses. REMEMBER: We recommend that you do not make flight reservations before you receive notice that you have been accepted as a delegate and that the delegation is confirmed. While we will notify you as soon as possible when we receive your application and deposit, acceptance letters will not be mailed out until after April 6, 2018, once all applications have been received and reviewed. If you or Friends of the ATC must cancel the delegation before May 15, 2018, or if you are not accepted as a delegate, your trip deposit can be refunded.
