Please be aware that by adopting a retired racing greyhound, you are taking responsibility for another living creature for the remainder of its life. If you are not prepared to take that responsibility, please do not fill out this application. A greyhound has a life expectancy of 12-14 years and will be with you for a number of them. The greyhound deserves a permanent and lasting home.
 
Adoption of your greyhound will be a non-refundable $550.00 donation, payable by cash, check, credit card or money order at the time of adoption. Adoption fees pay for general health check up, current vaccinations including rabies and DHLPP, a neuter/spay, a martingale collar, a leash, a FORG tag (that is to be worn at all times), a microchip, full access to an adoption counselor, free behavioral analysis if needed, 24/7 on-going support, a monthly newsletter) sent out by constant contact) and an individual adoption process.
