Saturday, September 23, 2017: Day One:  Applying Reports

Participants learn to access, interpret, and apply Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) data and resources to inform instruction. This workshop content is intended for staff members who will be applying MAP data from teacher reports or supporting other staff members in this work. For the greatest impact, we recommend that participants include school leadership teams including administrators, teachers, instructional coaches, data teams, and assessment coordinators.

Saturday, October 14, 2017: Day Two:  Informing Instruction

Participants use data from Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) and/or MAP for Primary Grades (MPG), and instructional resources from the Learning Continuum to inform instructional planning and differentiated instruction. This workshop is intended for staff members who will be applying MAP data from teacher reports or supporting other staff members in this work.

Saturday, November 18, 2017: Day Three:  Key Reports For Administrators & Instructional Leaders

Participants learn to access, interpret, and apply key Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) reports used by school administrators. Participants will learn techniques to develop and nurture a culture of using data regularly to inform decisions that impact teaching and learning. Activities will help teams interpret and apply data by conducting powerful strength-based conversations. This workshop will help schools make decisions that inform school improvement planning and resource allocation with MAP status and growth data. Please note that there is some overlap between the first session and this session, but this third workshop will have additional reports and a different lens of conversation.

The first two workshops are ideal for classroom teachers looking to gain expertise in using MAP to build a data-informed classroom and increase their ability to understand and interpret MAP data to inform instruction. The third workshop is intended for administrators and instructional leaders within the school.
