Thank you for your interest in the Glide Project.
The Glide Project offers subsidized AIARE level one avalanche education to Colorado high schoolers. We also offer free basic avalanche education to local Eagle and Summit country lower school students on request.
Level one classes are $300 (reduced 45%+ off adult classes) with $200 scholarships readily available with the submission of a video or written request. CLASSES REQUIRE A $100 DEPOSIT TO REGISTER*. We provide all necessary avalanche gear with limited use of split boards and touring skis available at no cost.

glideprojectscholarships@gmail.comLocal AIARE courses taking place at the Paragon office are 8am to 5pm daily unless otherwise noted. Each day begins with hot chocolate in the classroom with a lesson or two before headed into the field.
Day 1 is heaviest on theory with afternoon field time for beacon use and companion rescue.
Day 2 is structured around digging pits and assessing snowpack.
Day 3 is 90% field time. Using your new knowledge creating and executing a tour in and around avalanche terrain.
*All participants must be able to travel up to 2 miles with 1,000 feet of vertical gain at altitude.
