Waverley Tennis is hosting the 'Daphne Fancutt Shield' in 2018 and you are invited to participate.

The NSJTA is looking for interested players to apply to be a part of the NSJTA team to take on the other regions in this event.

The 'Daphne Fancutt Shield' is to be held on Saturday, 13 January, 2018, and Sunday, 14 January, 2018, at the Robinson Reserve Tennis Centre (the 'home' of Waverley Tennis), Frawley Road, Doveton (Melway Ref. 91 A10).

As with all previous Carnivals, this is the weekend preceding the Australian Open at Melbourne Park (15 Jan - 28 Jan, 2018).

The services of a Sports Trainer will be engaged for the full duration of the Carnival..
 
TEAM & COMPETITION FORMAT & AGE GROUPS:
 
Each team shall consist of ten (10) players; five (5) boys and five (5) girls, the ages being:-
 
One (1) boy and one (1) girl - 18 years and under
Two (2) boys and two (2) girls - 16 years and under
Two (2) boys and two (2) girls - 14 years and under
 
The Age Groupings are determined as the ages of the players as at 31 January, 2018.
 
The proposed format will be that of a Round Robin, with all teams to play each other during the Carnival in singles and doubles.  The doubles will be mixed doubles.
