2. You are matched with someone based on your answers.
3. They receive your answers to certain questions and your address.

4. There will be deadlines for purchasing items, as well as shipping. If you do not "check in" with proof of having completed those tasks by the deadline, you will be dropped and your Santa/Giftee will be reassigned.
This project, while done for the sub, is not affiliated with the sub. It is run independently. Which means, anything that happens with this exchange is of no fault of the sub or it's moderators.
**Participate at your own risk!!** Of course we hope and expect everyone to follow through and be honest, but it's inevitable that issues will come up. We will try our best to make everything run as smoothly as possible and right any issues that pop up. But please bear in mind, there is a risk that you do your part and your Santa doesn't do theirs.
Edit: Of course, you will have to give us a shipping address that will be passed onto your Santa, in order to receive your gift. So please keep that in mind. If you are under 18, please have your parent's permission to share that info. Also, keep in mind that you can rent a PO box at your local Post Office for a certain amount of time. This is a great solution if giving out your address makes you uncomfortable. For US participants, here is a link with more info. Other countries, please check with your local Post Office.
