Deubrook - NHS Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk/Run Registration
On April 29, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in White, Deubrook National Honor Society is hosting a Suicide Awareness 5K Walk. The walk is 3.2 miles around White and is starting at the school. Registration will cost $15 for adults and $10 for students. Payment can be made by check or cash. Checks can be made out to Deubrook NHS.

Walkers who pre-register by Wednesday, April 21 will be guaranteed a shirt. Late registrations will not be guaranteed shirt sizes. Walkers are welcome to register the day of the walk but will not be guaranteed a t-shirt to walk in. Kids five and under walk for free unless purchasing a t-shirt.

National Honor Society is organizing a Suicide Awareness Walk for the fourth year. We are raising awareness about suicide because it is the number ten leading cause of death in South Dakota and in the United States. All of our proceeds go toward the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This organization works to raise awareness locally through state chapters as well as nationwide.
