MIE Graduate students: Enchant your resume with a good cause and have fun!

We are recruiting executive members for the 10th MIE Research Symposium taking place in summer 2019. This is an opportunity to help run the stage for one of the most exciting events of the year. Get a chance to step out of lab, work and connect with your peers, and make this event awesome for the whole community! We are looking for people to join as an executive or volunteer as part of three committees: Academics, Logistics, Finance.

The Academics committee is in charge of:

* Program Development - decide on categories for the faculty, quantify presentations, assess abstracts and submissions

* Academic Communication - contact professors and post-docs for judging and support


The Logistics committee is in charge of:

* Scheduling of the event - material and venue selection

* Keynote speaker - work with Professor young for ideas and reaching out to international/local professors

* Faculty and student communication - market the event to all grad students in the UofT community


The Finance committee is in charge of:

* Acquiring sponsorship and industry participation

* Manage the budget


Team meetings between all committee divisions will be held once or twice a month during fall and winter!
