Did you know that businesses with a strong online presence grow twice as fast as those without?
Cllr Frank McAveety, Leader of Glasgow City Council, Keith Brown MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure, Investment and Skills and Peter Barron, Vice-President of Google UK, are delighted to invite you to the launch of the new Digital Garage in Glasgow.
Based in the Mitchell Library in Glasgow city centre, the Digital Garage will be a place where anyone can come and learn how to harness the power of the internet to grow their business and develop new vocational skills.
Please come along to hear more about what the Digital Garage will offer Glasgow and the region, and hear first-hand from businesses that have already used the Garage to develop their online presence.
Following the launch, networking and a light lunch, the Garage will officially open for its first training sessions, providing free digital skills training and advice to the region.
Please join us for the launch:
Wednesday 21st September, 11:15-12:30
Training sessions begin: 13:00-14:00 and 14:00-15:00
