Join the Wichita Flight Showchoir for a Master Class with Erik Hall on October 22nd.

This high-energy, music theater hip hop combination class will focus not only on steps, but on performance etiquette as well. No prior experience necessary!

When: Monday , October 22
Where: Maize South Middle School ( 3403 N Tyler rd)
Time: Grades 5-8 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm
            Grades 9+ from 7:30 to 8:30 pm
Cost: $15 with advance registration or $20 at the door

About the Clinician:
Erik Hall is a visiting clinician visiting from Los Angeles, California. Erik is a professional performer in LA and also frequents Wichita to choreograph Flight. Erik has been a performer since age 8. A singer, dancer, and actor, he received his degree from Elmhurst College in Chicago before moving to California to pursue the commercial dance industry. Since then, he has performed in various projects around LA and is a proud member of the Vocal Music Association team at John Burroughs High School. Some credits include music videos for Pharrell Williams and Alyson Stoner, television appearances on GLEE and The Voice, National commercials for Xfinity and The GAP, and live events, notably the Grammy Awards.

About Flight:
The Wichita Flight Showchoir is an area-wide, non-profit, competitive showchoir founded in August of 2014. Flight was uniquely established with the purpose of giving teens throughout the Wichita area the opportunity to participate in a competitive showchoir setting in a city where that hasn’t existed. Flight is Directed by Kristina Sims and has risen to national recognition in the four short years that has existed. This year Flight is comprised of over 45 singer/dancers and numerous instrumentalists from over 15 area schools throughout the Greater Wichita area!  

In addition to choreography and singing, Flight strives to teach children the ethics of hard-work, dedication, showman ship and friendship. While Flight has placed many times in competitions, the awards they are most proud of are the multiple awards that highlight their kindness as a team and the respect they are seen giving other teams.
