IMPORTANT: When submitting a proposal, please remember that TEDx events (just like TED) are all about 'ideas worth spreading'. Whether you are making a nomination or you are the speaker, before submitting any talk idea ask yourself the following questions:
- is the idea new?
- is it interesting (to a broad audience)?
- is it factual and realistic (can your call to action be executed)?
Also, keep in mind TED's guidelines on what is an idea worth spreading and what is not.
- No selling from the stage (no self-promotion, no products/services pitches)
- No political agendas
- No religious proselytizing (including new age beliefs)
- Only good science
