If you'd like to join the Chao World Adventure Project, please fill out this application form. Even if you don't quite fit the criteria in the description, you can still choose one you believe you'd be best suited for, or elaborate what you can do in the extras question. After submitting, you will be contacted by the main developer (NintendOni) and be asked a few more questions before starting!

Note: As of right now, we are not currently looking for testers.

Second, what sort of role would do you feel you'd be best for on this project? *

Coder - For this project, we'll be using Unity, as well as the Ork Framwork Plugin for the RPG Framework, and Rouguelike Tile Generation System. We will also need people to make mini-games for the Arcade, Pathing for the Races, various sorts of AI for the Chao and other important sections.

Writer - Due to the large amount of text needed for the Friendship system, as well as for the RPG itself, you'll be working on polishing the story for the game while also writing dialogue for the characters, as well as descriptions for various items found in-game.

2-D / UI Artist - You'll be helping to create concepts and designs for different Zones, Chao Evolutions/Types, Monsters, Ect. You will also be helping make text boxes, profile pictures, and poses for Cutscenes.

3-D Artist - Working with the 2-D Artists, you'll be modeling the Characters, Enemy Assets, Customization objects, ect.

3-D Animator - After the modeling is complete, you'll be working on the animations for the enemies, Chao actions, Walk cycles, and other animations for various toys and objects

Musician - To be fair, we are mostly considering using music from past Sonic / Sonic Team/ Sega Games. However, if you would like to make an original composition, we're willing to give it a listen.

Promotional - You'll be helping to get the information about the game out to different social media sites, as well as helping to organize information for community updates.

I want to contribute, but I do not fit the roles above.

Generally, we're going to have monthly meetings on this project in order to see how far we're progressing, and if we need to shift focus to particular parts. Please put down your Time Zone, and how much time per week/month you'll be able to devote to the project, so we'll be able to find a time where everyone can join.
