Projection Mapping Workshop
http://bordos.euLászló Zsolt Bordos (also known as Bordos.ArtWorks) is a 3D artist living in Budapest, Hungary. He started as a VJ in year 2000, performing in the underground party culture of Budapest. With his early 3D-vjing (2001-2004), his participation to huge size architectural slide projections (2002-2005) and his outrageous video projections and 3D mapping projects (2006-present), he became a pioneer of the genre.
Cooperating with other artists since 2010, he started to run the projects under the name
'Bordos.ArtWorks and Invited Artists', which became internationally recognized as eminent
representatives of video projection mapping. Since 2014 Bordos is focusing again on solo art projects, installations and scenery projections for theatres and operas, having mapping projects in more than 40 countries all around the world.
The visual artist has screened his artworks on the world’s most representative buildings from Shanghai to Los Angeles, including the Eiffel Tower.
During the three days of Projection Mapping Workshop, held by Bordos László Zsolt - Bordos.ArtWorks, participants will get an insight into the creation of 3ds Max animation, the use of Realflow Fluid Simulation Software, as well as have the opportunity to prepare their own work, that will be presented to the great public at the end of the festival.
The language of the workshop is hungarian / english / romanian and is suited to any age, but basic prior knowledge is needed. (semi-pros)
Participants should bring their laptops and have installed (trial version is OK) the following softwares: 3ds Max, Realflow, AfterEffects, Madmapper.
Participation fee is 200 RON which includes a lunch on each day of the workshop and the enrty to the iiamyank Live Ensemble concert.
Time of workshop: 13 - 16. September 11:00 – 16:00 (Demo screening on the main square at 22:00 on the 15th.)

Bordos László Zsolt – nume de artist Bordos.ArtWorks este un artist 3D care trăiește la Budapesta, Ungaria. Bordos László Zsolt se ocupă de proiecții video încă din anul 2000, începându-şi cariera de VJ în cultura underground din Budapesta. Datorită proiecţiilor sale, a animaţiilor în 3D la început de carieră (2000–2004), a proiecţiilor inovatoare (2005–2006), precum şi datorită lucrărilor sale în 3D mapping, Bordos László Zsolt este considerat a fi unul dintre pionierii generației sale.
Începând de anul 2010, sub numele de Bordos.ArtWorks și Colaboratorii Săi, Bordos a lucrat cu mai mulţi prieteni-artişti. Într-un scurt timp Bordos.ArtWorks şi Colaboratorii Săi au devenit reprezentanţi reputaţi ai scenei internaţionale de mapping.
Din 2014, Bordos se concentrează asupra proiectelor solo, proiecţii arhitecturale, proiecţii de obiecte de scară mică (object mapping), expoziţii de artă, precum şi asupra proiecţiilor de decoruri de teatru şi operă, având proiecte în peste 40 tări.
Artistul vizual a proiectat operele sale de artă asupra celor mai impozante clădiri din lume de la Shanghai până la Los Angeles, incluzând și Turnul Eiffel.
În cadrul workshop-ului de trei zile ”Projection Mapping Workshop”, susținut de Bordos László Zsolt - Bordos.ArtWorks, participanții vor obține o introspectivă în crearea de animații 3dsMax, în utilizarea software-ului de simulare a fluidelor - Realflow, și își vor realiza propria creație, pe care, la sfârșitul festivalului, o vor prezenta publicului larg.
Limba atelierului va fi engleză / română / maghiară și workshop-ul este dedicat celor interesanți în lumea mappingului, dar sunt necesare cunoștințe preliminare (semi-pros). Participanții sunt rugați să-și aducă laptopurile pe care sunt instalate următoarele softuri (versiunea trial e OK): 3ds Max, Realflow, AfterEffects, Madmapper.
Taxa de participare este 200 RON care include o masă caldă în fiecare zi și intrare liberă la concertul iamyank Live Ensemble.
Perioada atelierului: 13 - 16 septembrie, orele 11.00 - 16.00. Proiecția demo se va întâmpla în Piața Libertății pe 15 septembrie, de la ora 22.00.
Locația atelierului: diverse locații.

Bordos Zsolt László (más néven Bordos.ArtWorks) egy Budapesten élő 3D művész. 2000-ben VJ-ként kezdett, a budapesti underground partykultúrában. Korai 3D VJ munkáival (2001-2004), a nagyméretű építészeti diavetítésekkel (2002-2005) és lenyűgöző videó- illetve 3D mapping projektjeivel (2006-tól napjainkig), a műfaj úttörőjévé vált.
2010-től más művészekkel együttműködve, a "Bordos.ArtWorks és Meghívott Művészek", név alatt vált nemzetközileg elismertté.
2014 óta ismét egyéni művészi megnyilvánulásaira összpontosít, többek között installációkkal és díszletvetítésekkel foglalkozik különböző színházak és operák előadásai kapcsán. Mára több mint 40 országban valósított meg mapping projektet.
A vizuális művész a világ legreprezentatívabb épületein vetítette már alkotásait, Shanghaitól Los Angelesig, beleértve a párizsi Eiffel tornyot is.
A Bordos László Zsolt - Bordos.ArtWorks által tartott három napos műhelymunka során a résztvevők a 3dsMax animációkészítésbe, a Realflow folyadékszimulációs szoftver használatába nyernek bepillantást, valamint elkészítik saját munkájukat, amelyet a fesztivál végén bemutatnak a nagyközönség számára.
A workshop nyelve magyar / angol / román és nincs korhoz kötve, de előzetes alap tudást igényel. (haladó, fél-profi)
A résztvevők saját laptopjukon fognak dolgozni, amin a következő szoftwerek kell legyenek telepítve (trial verzió elfogadott): 3ds Max, Realflow, AfterEffects, Madmapper.
A részvételi díj 200 RON, ami tartalmaz egy ebédet a workshop mindegyik napján, valamint az iamyank Live Ensemble koncertjére való belépést.
