What is Math Pentathlon?
It is a club that meets weekly and uses specially designed board games to help students of all levels strengthen math
abilities. In Math Pentathlon, students develop important problem-solving, creative thinking, and critical reasoning skills
while having fun. In the spring, students put their talents to work at a city-wide tournament. More information can be

Registration Fee:
This fee will be used to pay for T-shirts, supplies, training sessions, instructional materials, and tournament fees. The
registration fee is non-refundable and can be paid by cash or check made out to Sunset Valley PTA.
Returning Math Pentathletes = $80 for the school year.
New Math Pentathletes = $50 for the fall session and, if you continue, $30 will be due by Dec. 14th for the spring
session.
Free or Reduced lunch = registration fees are waived for families that qualify for free or reduced lunch.

¿Qué es Matemáticas Pentátlon? Es un club que se reúne semanalmente y utiliza juegos para motivar a los estudiantes
para aprender matemáticas. En Matemáticas Pentátlon, los estudiantes desarrollan la resolución de problemas, la
capacidad de razonamiento crítico y pensamiento creativo mientras divertirse. En la primavera los estudiantes ponen
sus habilidades a trabajar en un torneo entre toda la ciudad . Más información se puede encontrar en

Cuota de Inscripción: Esta tasa se utiliza para pagar por las camisetas, equipos, sesiones de formación, materiales
instructivos y el torneo. Todos los fondos no son reembolsables. Se pueden pagar en efectivo o con cheque a nombre de
Sunset Valley PTA.
Volviendo Matemáticas pentatletas = $80 para el año escolar
Nueva Matemáticas pentatletas = $50 para el otoño y, si continúa, $30 se deben enviar antes del 14 de diciembre para la
reunión de primavera.
Honorarios gratis o reducido del almuerzo = la inscripción no se aplica para las familias que califiquen para el almuerzo
