Each semester CalTeach awards scholarships to science, math, and engineering majors working towards becoming K–12 math and science teachers. Koshland Endowment Scholarship awardees are selected on the basis of their commitment to K–12 math and science teaching, academic performance, and financial need. This scholarship program is funded through the generous support of the Koshland Family Foundation.
The Excellence in Teaching Scholarship is open to all CalTeach students, who will be awarded up to $2500.
This scholarship is for students committed to the CalTeach program who have demonstrated excellence in K-12 STEM education, are dedicated to improving their teaching, and provide evidence for financial need. The level of support awarded is determined by these criteria.
**Students are advised that the Koshland Scholarships, like other scholarships, may adjust their current financial package. It is recommended that students speak to the Financial Aid Office in Sproul Hall to see what, if any, adjustment may occur. This process will be supported by the CalTeach Program Coordinator.
