2018 REPS Music Program Parent Contract and Permission to be alone with tutor
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the REPS Music Program. The following contract outlines the responsibilities of parents and students to participate in the music program at REPS. If you have any questions, please email us at rydeeastmusic@gmail.com
Please submit this form as soon as possible as your child cannot start lessons or rehearsals until we have received your completed contract.

MUSIC PROGRAM PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
Parents, please read carefully, all the fields must be completed
1. Students who are tutored in an instrument at school must join one of the school bands or ensembles as deemed appropriate by the tutor and bandleader / conductors.  This does not apply to percussion students.   *

2. It is expected that student behaviour will be of a high standard at all times. If student behaviour becomes a concern, either in tutorials or band / ensemble rehearsals, the Music Coordinator will contact parents after notifying the school of the issue. *

3. Students are required to attend all arranged performances unless sufficient prior notification is given to the bandleader / conductor and the Band Manager or the Music Program Coordinator. *

4. Students should aim to practise regularly for optimum results. *

5. Parents are expected to purchase instrument tutorial books as deemed necessary by the tutor/bandleader/conductor. *

6. Students must attend all tutorials and rehearsals at the arranged time. *

7. Rehearsal fees and instrument hire (where applicable) are payable within two weeks of receipt of invoice. All other fees are billed by your tutor. All fees must be paid promptly. Tutorial fees will only be reduced if lessons are missed by the tutor and cannot be rescheduled. *

8. Fees for both rehearsals and tutorials are to be paid within two weeks of issue. If this does not occur, the student will be suspended from lessons and/or rehearsal until full payment is made. *

9. Payment for tutorials/rehearsals is charged per term. If your child has commenced tutorials/rehearsals at the beginning of a term you must pay fees for the entire term, regardless of whether your child discontinues tutorials/rehearsals before the conclusion of the term. Notice must be given by Week 8 of a term if your child wishes to discontinue tutorials/rehearsals for the following term. If a student discontinues after this date, the following term's fees must be paid in full. *

10.   No refunds will be made if: A student is absent from a lesson; A student leaves mid-term; A student does not attend a make-up lesson if one was arranged. *

11.   A refund will be made if: The tutor was absent and the lesson could not be made up that term; A student misses a lesson due to a whole school commitment (however, this should be eliminated with term planning and timetabling). *

12. To assist the running of the REPS P&C Music Program, ALL music families volunteer up to two hours of time to assist with music events such as: Music Day, Ryde East Music Festival, Gold Card Assembly performances, Musical Variety Night or any other associated activities. *
