Attendance for all sessions is mandatory, but we will consider applicants who need to miss one session for a legitimate reason.
How many hours per week will you have available to work on your proposal during the boot camp? *
(We expect a minimum of 20 hours per week.)
Will you be able to complete the assignment for the first session (see web program description) and keep up with other required assignments throughout the program? This will, at times, require a substantial amount of time and writing (of the proposal draft). *

Dissertation Proposal Information
Please describe what your advisor expects for your proposal in terms of length (number of pages double-spaced) and components/sections (such as abstract, literature review, annotated bibliography, chapter breakdown, etc.).  If you haven't spoken with your advisor about this, please do so before submitting your application. *
If you have started writing, please describe by section how many pages you have written/drafted. *
Your Research and Writing Process
Will you be doing research with human subjects (e.g., conducting interviews, surveys)  as part of your dissertation? If so, when will you be required to seek IRB approval? How familiar are you with the IRB process? (If not applicable, please put N.A.) *
Please describe why you are interested in the boot camp as well as any challenges you are having with the proposal process. *
If English is not the primary language in which you were educated before graduate school, please comment on any challenges you have with writing in English (if applicable).
