Graduate Research & Travel Support Funds Application
The GWSS department is pleased to be able to offer students who are in their 1st to 5th year of study funding for research or academic travel. Please read below for important information.

FUNDING DETAILS: Feminist Studies PhD Students at the University of Minnesota are offered up to $500 per year, up to $2,000 over five years (dependent on the availability of funds), to support research activities and conference travel.

TO APPLY: Please complete the form below at least ONE MONTH PRIOR to your travel or research activities; your travel plans must be approved by the DGS and Chair at least two weeks prior to departure. If applicable, please submit a PDF of your notification of acceptance (for conference presenters) or your confirmation of registration (for conference attendees) using the link at the bottom of the page. You will be notified in approximately two weeks whether or not your funding application has been approved.

Please submit a PDF of your notification of acceptance (for conference presenters) or your confirmation of registration (for conference attendees) by uploading it to your individually assigned folders using the link below. Upon your return, you may be asked to upload your receipts and expense worksheets to this same folder. You may need to add/open this folder in Google Drive before you are able to upload to it. Please note: Your individual folder is only visible to you, the DGS, Chair, and administrative staff.
